Women Who Have Led in Crisis

Women Who Have Led in Crisis

It has historically been the case in times of crisis and chaos that the gifts of women have been most recognized. It is in times of uncertainty and upheaval that women’s abilities to lead have been most accepted and embraced.

It is because we can find great inspiration, courage and hope in the women of the past who have faithfully led in uncertainty that we will be pivoting this week to learn the names and stories of some of these women.

Given the tangible sense of uncertainty we are all navigating right now, I hope these women’s stories bring us a sense of comfort and courage to face this new world we are in. And I hope that we can draw great strength from these Mothers of the Faith as well as see a new vision for leadership, inspired by the way God has worked in the world during crisis, using women to lead and transform with hope and love.
